Atiya Coffee review: our verdict
Chez Atiya Coffee, the decor takes center stage, and it's fully embraced: every corner seems designed to end up in a story. A pleasant surprise, the coffee follows suit. The coffee is well-made, and the iced drinks, such as a pistachio latte, focus on balance rather than sugar. The place remains calm, which is not so common for a café this photogenic.
People come here in twos to chat between friends for a pause that stretches on, or alone to read in peace in the Branes neighborhood. The service is quick, smiling, and the team doesn't rush anyone. This isn't the counter where you gulp down an expresso standing up before heading to the office, and those annoyed by cafés designed for Instagram will pass by: here, you settle in, order a small dessert with your drink, and stay.
The best slot: in the evening, since the café serves until midnight every day, practical for an outing that ends late without going through a bar. A pause address, simple and well-run, that bets on the setting and hospitality more than on a long menu.
