Our review
Chic, relaxed and cosmopolitan
With Brasserie Flâneur, the Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche has given the city a vibrant new living space, combining the French art of living with a cosmopolitan openness. The concept is defined as a "retro-chic" and "smart casual" venue, drawing inspiration from the timeless elegance of Parisian cafés, the comfort of London clubs and the charm of holiday houses. It's a modern, convivial and accessible brasserie that strikes the perfect balance between hotel luxury and neighborhood hangout.
The setting is spacious (60 covers), offering both a lively main dining room and more intimate alcoves. Open to the lobby, the atmosphere evolves throughout the day: from mellow jazz during the day, perfect for a relaxed business meeting, to more dynamic rhythms in the evening.
In the kitchen, Chef Mohamed Abaragh brings a bold touch to the menu. A rising figure on the Moroccan and French culinary scene (having collaborated with Alain Ducasse and Fabrice Vulin), he offers a menu that pays tribute to great international classics (risotto, club sandwich, Caesar salad), while giving pride of place to showcasing Moroccan specialties. It's this balance between French finesse and local inspirations that makes Brasserie Flâneur stand out.
But what makes this venue a must-visit are its signature moments: a generous and decadent brunch, and a refined tea time, perfect for all the food lovers of Casablanca. Brasserie Flâneur thus establishes itself as the ideal address for "strolling" at any hour, whether for a full meal, a gourmet break or a chic evening drink.
