Our review
Facing the ocean in Harhoura
Yaha is a Mediterranean restaurant on Avenue Mohamed VI in Harhoura, between Témara and Rabat. The main draw is undeniable: a terrace facing the Atlantic that offers an unobstructed ocean panorama, perfect for a sunny lunch or dinner at sunset. It’s the kind of address you choose first for the setting — and the cuisine does what’s needed to complement the experience.
The Mediterranean menu
The menu features Mediterranean classics adapted to local tastes. Grilled fish — sea bream, sea bass, shrimp — is the specialty, simply cooked and served with fresh accompaniments. The pizzas are decent, the composed salads generous, and a few Moroccan dishes round out the offering to please everyone at the table. Cocktails and fresh juices are well-made and especially enjoyable with the ocean view.
The oceanfront setting
The restaurant is bright and airy, with touches of blue and white reminiscent of Mediterranean coastal tavernas. The terrace is spacious and well-oriented, with parking available — a practical detail when coming from Rabat. Indoor air conditioning allows comfortable dining even in summer. It’s a great spot for a family escape outside the city without going too far.
Our verdict
Rated 3.5/5 on Google, Yaha divides opinions: the view and location are universally praised, but the cuisine and service are sometimes considered uneven. It’s an address recommended primarily for its oceanfront setting, ideal for a relaxed weekend lunch. Prices are on the higher side for the area, but the view makes up for it. Avenue Mohamed VI, Harhoura — best enjoyed in good weather.
