Mandala Society Essaouira

We came for dinner and ended up coming back the very next day, that pretty much says it all. The staff is friendly, the food is super fresh, delicious, and healthy, and it leaves you feeling full without any heavy, bloated feeling. If you grab a table on the top floor, you get an amazing view of the street below.

This was our first stop in essaouira and one of the best. Great drinks, juices and teas, labeled vegan options, really nice people. Enjoy the vibe out front on the patio and watch life go by on the main strip of the Medina, or enjoy the cozy atmosphere inside. There is a small terrace on the upper floor by the bathrooms too. Vegan options are all labeled and include an exception avocado toast (the bread was a real highlight), Buddha bowls, hummus, and a smoothie bowl - something for breakfast and lunch/dinner too, whatever. They have vegan brownies at the counter too! Tried some tea, both iced and hot, a smoothie and more. This place is fantastic and a welcome edition to the essaouira restaurant scene, highly recommended for vegans and vegetarians especially

We came in for breakfast with the kids and ended up coming back again the next day — it was that good! Everything was delicious, especially when you get a bit tired of tagine. Excellent cappuccino, a really tasty oatmeal, a cozy and beautiful atmosphere, and very friendly, pleasant staff.

As a vegan, had a fantastic experience here! Definitely coming back! They have clearly marked vegan options on the menu. Ahmed helped talk to the chef and make the "Cauliflower Bliss" dish vegan by removing the eggs. It was the best thing I've had in Morocco so far! He also suggested the oat milk latte which was amazing as well! If you're vegan, go here, they will customise the dishes to make them vegan for you. Even better if you have Ahmed to help you!
