Very good food at xing xing. The noodles were incredibly delicious. There is a live band playing good music so the atmosphere is very raw and real. I like that it’s comfortable and that the service is really good there. Staff is very attentive. Make sure to reserve to secure a table especially weekends Friday and Saturday are peak. On Sunday they have open mic and it’s fairly quiet if you have a group of friends and just want to have fun and sing. I highly recommend!

Xing Xing in Casablanca is a cozy little Japanese spot that somehow manages to make curry feel like an art form—rich, fragrant, and layered with flavor like it’s been perfected in the streets of Tokyo rather than tucked away downtown. The Japanese curry here isn’t your usual mild comfort bowl; it hits with deep spice, slow-cooked intensity, and a touch of sweetness that lingers like the best kind of secret. Every plate feels like a love letter to Japanese-style home cooking, from the golden curry sauce that clings perfectly to rice to the tender meats that melt under your fork. Even the aroma fills the place with that unmistakable Japanese curry warmth that makes you want to order a second serving before you’ve finished the first. Honestly, if this isn’t the best Japanese curry house in Casablanca, I don’t know what is.

The food was okay, it was not authentic Chinese food which is a disappointment. The service was shocking, the server paid too much attention to our table, he was lurking around watching and picking up empty plates and used utensils as soon as we used them which was uncomfortable. When we asked for the bill, another server immediately came and started cleaning the table while we were still seated and finishing our drinks. He cleaned the table and moved our stuff around as if we already left, which is the complete opposite of fine dining etiquette. The experience overall was awkward and not up to our expectations, seeing how the restaurant was portrayed on social media.

Amazing dining club with great food and amazing staff. Great live jazz band. The only negative thing is the smoke. It is allowed to smoke and it is suffocating for a non smoker.
