Our review
The Mexican restaurant Casablanca was waiting for
Guacaté is one of the rare Mexican cuisine addresses in Casablanca that truly delivers. Located on Boulevard Mohamed Abdou in the Kacem El Chabi district, the restaurant has filled a gap in the Casablanca dining scene. No watered-down Mexican food here: the flavors are bold, the recipes are respected, and the portions leave no one hungry. The 4.8/5 rating on Google speaks for itself.
The authentic tex-mex menu
Guacaté’s menu is focused but effective. The burritos — generously filled with marinated meat, rice, beans, guacamole and cream — are the bestseller. The tacos arrive on corn tortillas with fresh, flavorful toppings. Quesadillas with melted cheese, healthy bowls and shareable nachos round out an offering that covers all the classics. The fresh guacamole made in generous quantities is a must-order — creamy, well-seasoned, with just the right hint of chili.
Atmosphere and service
The vibe is laid-back and colorful, true to the Mexican street food spirit. The decor plays on bright colors, graphic patterns and a playlist that matches the concept. Service is quick — dishes arrive hot and well-presented. It’s the kind of place that works for a grab-and-go lunch as well as an evening out with friends. Prices are very affordable for the quality served.
Our verdict
Regulars are categorical: Guacaté is the best Mexican in Casablanca. Ingredients are fresh, flavors are authentic, and the value for money is unbeatable. The address quickly built its reputation through word of mouth, and rightfully so. If you’re craving tacos, burritos or simply good guacamole in Casa, look no further. Boulevard Mohamed Abdou — add it to your favorites.
