Kasbah Tamadot review: our verdict
The infinity pool at Kasbah Tamadot overlooks the Asni valley with the Atlas peaks as a backdrop. Before becoming a hotel, the building was an old kasbah acquired by Richard Branson, less than thirty kilometers from the Toubkal National Park. You can stay in a room, a suite, in a more intimate riad, some with a private pool, or under a Berber tent with a terrace and jacuzzi, in the middle of a flower-filled estate where butterflies fly.
You play on one of the two tennis courts, swim in the spa's covered pool, watch a film under the stars, read in the library, or visit the small farm. Outside the estate: guided hikes, a Berber village, electric bike rides, and the stars at night. The menu blends Moroccan and international cuisine. The team, from the region, anticipates everything, from finding a room for a video conference on the day of departure to bringing ointment after a sprain. The perfect setting for a honeymoon, a birthday, or a few screen-free days. Not for a quick stop on the Toubkal road: the estate is experienced over several nights.
The good tip: a riad with a private pool, to have the panorama of the Atlas all to yourself.
