Our review
The brunch worth the detour on Anfa
O’BEN has established itself as one of Casablanca’s essential brunch addresses. Located on Rue Ahmed El Mokri, just steps from Boulevard d’Anfa, the coffee shop relies on an indulgent menu, quality ingredients and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay. The concept worked so well that a second O’BEN opened in Rabat, Avenue des Oudayas — proof the recipe is a hit.
The brunch and coffee menu
The menu revolves around brunch classics, carefully executed: eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, fluffy pancakes with mixed berries, well-seasoned avocado toast, French toast and granola bowls. The breakfast combos are complete and generous — you won’t leave hungry. On the beverage side, O’BEN takes its specialty coffees seriously: smooth flat whites, creamy cappuccinos, and a selection of juices freshly pressed to order. Homemade pastries — cookies, carrot cake, brownies — complete the offering for those with a sweet tooth.
The coffee shop vibe
The setting is that of a premium neighborhood café: generous natural light, warm and neutral-toned decor, comfortable furniture and reliable wifi. It’s the kind of place where you come for a leisurely weekend brunch or to work quietly during the week with a good flat white. The space is suited for families and digital nomads alike.
Our verdict
Rated 4.4/5 on Google, O’BEN is a safe bet for brunch in Casablanca. Service is attentive, ingredients are fresh and preparations are homemade. Prices are reasonable for the quality offered on Boulevard d’Anfa. The only downside: weekend crowds can mean a wait — come early or on weekdays to enjoy the place at its best. Rue Ahmed El Mokri, Casablanca — and now also in Rabat.
