PalmGolf Marrakech Ourika review: our verdict
At number 17, the elevated green stands like an island in the middle of the sand: it's the hole you talk about on the way home, on this 18-hole course, par 72, signed by Neil Haworth and Stéphane Talbot. It stretches up to 6,692 meters for the best players, five sets of tees allow you to gauge the difficulty, and the fast greens are flanked by well-placed bunkers, among olive trees and palms, with the Atlas Mountains facing you.
You play in a trolley cart, and the course is very forgiving: the caddies, who are great teachers, show you how to navigate the obstacles, so that the beginner has as much fun as the experienced player. Family sessions supervised by a coach captivate the children, and the clubhouse, impeccable, serves cuisine that never disappoints. Non-golfers can turn to the wakeboard lake or the pool loungers. Not for the golfer who arrives with empty hands: the rented equipment is worn, broken, and there is no real set for women.
The trap: rent on-site, 250 DH for an incomplete women's set with an unplayable driver (noted in April 2026). The good tip: the family session with a coach to introduce teenagers. The best slot: the morning tee time in summer, right from opening at 8 am, before the heat.
