Riad Sakkan review: our verdict
The first luxury of Riad Sakkan is silence. You sleep right in the medina, just a few minutes' walk from the souks, and hear nothing at night: this is what surprises those who dreaded the noise of the old city. Behind the door, a swimming pool, charming rooms and tasteful decoration, even in the Junior suite. The Michelin Guide awarded it a Key in 2026.
The welcome sets the tone: you are greeted with calm and kindness by a team that remembers names and is happy to laugh, and you quickly feel at home. The food follows, with varied dishes you can enjoy on-site without regret after a day of walking. This is the address for a couple's or family stay that wants the medina without its noise. It is not for those seeking a large hotel with multiple halls and activity: here, the scale remains that of a house.
The insider tip: do everything on foot, the souks, visits and dinners in the city are just minutes away. The best time slot: late afternoon by the pool, before heading out or dining at the riad.
