Waldorf Astoria Rabat Salé review: our verdict
Thirty floors higher up, Peacock Alley is the best reason to step through the door of the Waldorf Astoria, even without staying there. The hotel occupies the Mohammed VI Tower, on the Salé side, and its elevated dining room combines bar, restaurant, and a view that alone is worth the climb. Michelin Guide awarded a Bib Gourmand in 2026.
At the bar, signature cocktails and mocktails to taste for themselves; at table, precise cuisine and attentive service, which knows how to guide you through the menu. In the afternoon, the beautifully presented afternoon tea is equally appealing. This is the address for a dinner that must make a mark, a business meeting, or a chic end-of-day outing with a view of the capital. It is not the place for an improvised, low-budget outing: everything here must be reserved, and the bill follows the altitude.
The glass to order: a signature cocktail, or a mocktail if you don't drink. The trap: at the Magnolia restaurant, phone reservations require perseverance and the terrace may place you in full sun; confirm your table carefully. The good slot: afternoon tea, to enjoy the view in full daylight.
