% Arabica Marrakech review: our verdict
Des Chemex lined up like a riad fountain, white stucco, hand-painted zellige tiles, and earthen counters: the Ciguë studio has created a decor you photograph before even ordering, including the large mirror. On the coffee side, the house roasts on-site and serves espresso, flat white, or filter, prepared with precision by baristas who know their trade; the Kyoto latte is the specialty to try.
You mostly come here in the late afternoon, with friends, after the shops on M Avenue, when the room is most lively. The wifi handles a few emails, but the place isn't suited for a long work session. Over the last few months, management has disappointed: only the large cup size is available, the house blend replaced outright with a single origin, a taste judged burnt since the machine change, and an airless room when the thermometer hovers near 45 degrees.
Dish to order: a filter or flat white, with one of the small homemade pastries. The trap: come for the freshness in the middle of summer, the room heats up quickly (recorded in August 2026). Non-stop service from 8 am to midnight, seven days a week.
