FER7 review: our verdict
Golf on one side, the lake on the other, the Atlas in the background: FER7's terrace sells the evening before the menu even opens. This menu blends Asia and the West, with sushi carrying the house, alongside a fisherman's ceviche or a smoked salmon. An izakaya corner, on the lounge bar side, extends the evening with the same view.
FER7 is located in the Noria Golf Club, ten minutes from the centre by car, and the clientele reflects this: players stepping off the course, regulars returning every week, and couples come to watch the sun set behind the greens. The decor remains understated, live deep house sets a lounge tone, and service is quick, with servers who know their menu. Perfect for an after-golf or a dinner for two. Not for following a match in the stands: on match nights, the hall overflows and you can't hear a thing.
The dish to order: the sushi, the strength of the cuisine. The trap: a night of a big match, when tables crowd together and the air conditioning can't keep up. The right slot: a table outside at the hour the sun sinks behind the course.
