Les Bains Du Lotus review: our verdict
Tonic massage doesn't put on a show: the pressure is firm, and you know upon leaving that you've been massaged. Les Bains du Lotus is situated in an Art Deco riad in the Arset Aouzal quarter, with mirrors, a pool, and a flowered terrace, and offers the classic itinerary: steam hammam, black soap scrub, followed by argan oil massage at light, medium, or firm pressure.
Expect two to three hours, punctuated by small attentions, detox juice upon arrival, mint tea and nibbling upon leaving. Enclosed cabin, the noise of the reception fades away. People come as couples or between girlfriends to unwind after a day of souks, at rather mild prices for the medina. Less so for tight schedules: when the agenda is full, the appointment slips by half an hour and the reception becomes mechanical.
The good tip: the 45-minute tonic massage, at 550 DH (as of December 2025). The pitfall: relying on the form to indicate areas to avoid; tell it verbally to your masseuse before starting.
