Pickalbatros Sungo Club review: our verdict
The rare luxury of an all-inclusive club is a free lounge chair. The Sungo Club achieves this through quantity: fifteen outdoor pools, plus two wading pools, a covered pool, and a water park with slides, spread over more than ten hectares on the edge of the Palmeraie. Recently renovated, the estate alternates lively areas with quiet corners, and a few rooms have direct access to the pool.
Everything is designed for families, from six-month-olds to teenagers: spacious rooms and bathrooms, connecting or triple rooms, a kids club where animators reassure parents, a virtual reality room, tennis, padel, football, and evening shows. At the dining table, you go from Asian to Moroccan, from international cuisine to pizzas cooked outdoors, with an efficient poolside bar. The kitchen remains the weak point: it lacks variety and refreshes little day after day. Gourmets and couples seeking silence will go elsewhere.
The bargain: choose your pool according to your mood, keeping the quiet areas away from games and music. The trap: plan to visit Marrakech every day, while the city center is about twenty-five minutes by road.
