Our review
The rooftop that overlooks Casablanca
Perched on the 16th floor of JM Suites, The James Rooftop offers one of the most stunning panoramic views of Casablanca. From the Hassan II Mosque to the Maarif towers and the ocean beyond, the 360-degree panorama is striking, especially at sunset. It’s become one of the most sought-after spots on the Casablanca nightlife scene — and for good reason.
Cocktails and menu
The signature cocktail menu is the cornerstone of the offering. Mixologists serve original creations with local and international flavors in elegant glassware. Classics (mojito, margarita, old fashioned) are well executed, and the house cocktails are worth exploring. On the food side, the menu is shorter but holds its own: sharing tapas, boards, sliders and a few heartier dishes. It’s a companion menu designed for evenings out, not a gastronomic menu — and that’s perfectly fine.
Atmosphere and events
The vibe is elegant without being stuffy. The decor plays on dark tones, soft lighting and comfortable furniture — banquettes, armchairs and high tables facing the view. Live music and DJ sets on weekends add a festive dimension that transforms the venue after 10pm. The dress code is smart casual — you come here to treat yourself.
Our verdict
Rated 4.4/5 on Google, The James Rooftop is an essential address for rooftop evenings in Casablanca. The view alone is worth the visit, and the cocktails match the setting. Service is polished and professional. Reservations are strongly recommended on weekends — tables with a view go fast. Corner of Boulevard Rachidi and Moulay Hassan 1er, Moulay Youssef district. A must for Casablanca nights out.
