Flowers review: our verdict
Grilled octopus, caramelized outdoors and tender inside, served on a terrace overlooking the medina rooftops up to the mountains: Flowers has found its formula. The menu blends a European touch with local produce, featuring more original plates than one expects from a rooftop, and a wine list where Moroccan wines have their place.
The atmosphere is retro and relaxed, with music, sometimes live, and cocktails that spark conversation. The owner serves in the dining room, the team is attentive, and the decor has been thought out down to the smallest corner. For a leisurely lunch, a dinner for two, or an aperitif turning into a meal with friends, head to Dar El Bacha. Not for those seeking traditional Moroccan cuisine, nor for a quiet tête-à-tête when the group is playing.
The dish to order: the grilled octopus, without hesitation. The best time slot: lunch or late afternoon, when the view extends to the mountains; it's open daily from noon to midnight. The trap: coming without a reservation now that the address, still recent, is starting to be known.
