NOMAD review: our verdict
On clear days, the snow-capped Atlas Mountains can be seen in the distance from the rooftop, and the medina spreads out just below: this is the panorama that makes NOMAD's reputation, even on social media. Close to the Spice Square, the restaurant revisits Moroccan terroir with very visually appealing plates, set against enveloping music.
The staff, smiling and attentive, knows how to recover from a mistake, with a complimentary coffee to follow. For a lunch for two with a view, or to show friends passing through the view of Marrakech from above, the gamble works. As for taste, the promise is more fragile: the fish of the day arrives simply grilled with three vegetables, some cooking misses the mark, and the starters are too poorly described on the menu to choose calmly. Not for a tight budget, nor for those who come first to eat.
The trap: the bill, which climbs quickly with water at 40 DH and 9% service added automatically (recorded in October 2025). The right time: a winter lunch under clear skies, when the summits are white. Dogs are welcome.
