Our review
The international organic bakery at Anfa Clubs
Le Pain Quotidien has set up shop at Anfa Clubs in Casablanca, in the green towers. The Belgian brand, present in over 20 countries, brings its signature concept to Casa: sourdough bread, organic products and a communal table philosophy that encourages sharing. The setting stays true to the brand’s DNA — natural wood, abundant light, a pared-back and zen atmosphere.
The menu
The menu revolves around tartines — avocado, smoked salmon, poached egg — organic brunches assembled with care, and fresh salads. The pastries are a strong point: butter croissants, multigrain breads and the famous sourdough that made the brand’s reputation. Hot beverages are prepared with specialty coffee, and juices are freshly pressed to order. Breakfast is the highlight — generous, balanced and served on artisanal ceramic tableware.
The on-site experience
The space is designed for families and digital nomads: wifi, power outlets, and welcome quiet. The large communal table in solid wood is the centerpiece of the decor. It’s a place where you come for a leisurely Sunday brunch with family or for a working coffee session during the week.
Our verdict
Rated 3.8/5 on Google, Le Pain Quotidien suffers from some recurring criticism about service — slow during peak hours and sometimes cool reception. The concept and products remain solid, but the local execution has room for improvement. For fans of organic baking and Western-style brunch in Casablanca, it remains one of the few options of its kind at Anfa Clubs. Ideal if you’re in the area and looking for a quiet café with quality products.
