Riad No.37 review: our verdict
In a medina that loves ornamentation, Riad No.37 takes the opposite approach: minimalist decor, thought out to the smallest detail, that lets the volumes breathe. The Michelin Guide distinguished it with a Key in 2026. The best moment is up high, on the rooftop terrace, where you have breakfast and where you return for a break between two walks.
The hosts make the difference: they advise, guide, book your tables and your tours, and give the impression of having a friend in the city. The riad, in Dar El Bacha, allows you to do everything on foot. It's the address for a couple or a traveller who loves calm and beautiful minimalism; not that of someone who dreams of zelliges everywhere and cascading chandeliers. The house also offers henna sessions, open to more than just residents.
The good tip: breakfast on the rooftop terrace, not to be rushed. The best slot: late afternoon on the rooftop, for a break before heading out for dinner.
