Stagione review: our verdict
Dough that does all the work: at Stagione, the pizza comes out of the wood-fired oven soft, well-cooked, and topped with fresh ingredients without overloading, with that taste we usually associate with a trip to Italy. The house signs itself « by Ayoub Ayache » and owns its specialty: pizza first, burrata and pasta to complete the menu.
It's a spot for a dinner for two or a table of friends sharing three pizzas and a starter, in a convivial room where service remains attentive even when it's busy. On Rue Manaziz, just steps from Kiabi, it's easy to find and suits both a late dinner and a weekday lunch. Not for a multi-course gastronomic meal, nor for those seeking a long and varied menu: here, Italy is told through the oven.
The dish to order: a pizza, the heart of the house, possibly preceded by a burrata to share. The best time slot: open every day from noon to 11:30 PM, practical for a late dinner in Maarif.
