David Bloch Gallery review: our verdict
Calligraphy and street art united on the same wall: Arabic graffiti holds a prominent place at the David Bloch Gallery, alongside paintings, sculptures, photographs, and video installations. The ground-level space, featuring an open-air courtyard and neutral walls, evokes a New York loft, and a few antique pieces tucked among the works create a contrast that speaks volumes.
Here, we support artists over the long term, with monographic exhibitions, including one dedicated to Remed, and the reception allows time for questions, whether about the artist's journey or their technique. For those who enjoy discussing art and collectors seeking a standout piece; not for an impromptu visit between shops on Rue de Yougoslavie, in a quiet corner of Guéliz far from tourist circuits. The venue can also be rented for a reception, seminar, or photoshoot.
The catch: passing by without notice, the door remains closed outside of scheduled appointments; please call or write before heading over.
