La Sultana Marrakech review: our verdict
All rooms at La Sultana overlook inner courtyards, and that is the essence of the place: the Kasbah street bustles outside, while silence reigns inside. Distinguished by a Michelin Key in 2026, the hotel features a spa, a pool, and a rooftop with sun loungers and a small pool to cool off.
Two restaurants serve generous portions, including a patio by the pool, and the Odette terrace is perfect for an aperitif. Breakfast adds a menu of local specialties to the sweet and savoury buffet. This is the address for a stay for two or a first visit to Marrakech, the old town within walking distance. Not for a tight budget, nor for those seeking club atmosphere: here, you come for the calm and attentive service on every floor.
The insider tip: the rooftop cooking class with a chef, to prepare eggplant salad, tajine, and mint tea. The dish to order: the local specialties from the breakfast menu, in addition to the buffet. The best time slot: the aperitif on the Odette terrace in the late afternoon.
