La Table de La Sultana review: our verdict
You choose your setting before even opening the menu: by the poolside, in a vaulted brick patio inspired by the Almohad style, or on the rooftop where an oud player accompanies the meal. La Table de La Sultana, the hotel's grand evening table on rue de la Kasbah, marries French gastronomy and Moroccan recipes on menus that rotate with the seasons. Vegetables come from gardens in Oualidia and Marrakech, fish from the Oualidia lagoon.
Here you book for an anniversary, a marriage proposal, or a dinner with friends who want to make a splash. The atmosphere is intimate, the sounds of the Kasbah stay outside, and the team advises with precision, from dishes to wine, on a French and Moroccan menu. No need to come for a quick or light dinner: service opens at 7:30 PM, you take your time, and the bill matches the setting.
The best slot: right at opening, at 7:30 PM, a drink on the rooftop before heading to the table. The pitfall: booking without specifying whether you want the poolside or the rooftop, two very different evenings. On the budget side, count 700 to 1,000 DH per person, including wine (as of March 2026).
