OM Yoga Marrakech review: our verdict
The bungee workout, suspended by an elastic band, is the discipline many discover here, and it captures the spirit of OM Yoga: a range rather than a single path. On the menu: ashtanga, yin, power, vinyasa, hatha, wall yoga, aerial, Pilates, and floor barre. The glass-walled, bright studio is located within the Mövenpick hotel, boulevard Mohamed VI, facing the main pool.
Classes are offered in French or English, for beginners or advanced practitioners, with a team of instructors from diverse backgrounds who adapt to the group of the day. Equipment and towels are provided, along with lockers, showers, and a relaxation area, while the hotel adds a café-brasserie, gym, and easy parking. Beginners find their footing here, and regulars stay for years. Not suitable for those who can only practice in the evenings from Friday to Sunday: the studio then operates only from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
The pitfall: showing up without a reservation, as spots per session are limited and everything goes through the app. The smart move: the annual or unlimited subscription rather than single sessions once you come regularly. The studio also trains teachers for those who want to go further.
