Spa Mandarin Oriental Marrakech review: our verdict
Six cabins, six gardens: at the Mandarin Oriental spa, each treatment room overlooks its own square of greenery; half are designed for couples, and two feature a bath. Spread over 1,800 m², nestled in the middle of the resort's 20 hectares, the two hammams remain faithful to tradition, with black soap, kessa, and argan oil, while the « Rose du Maroc » ritual stretches over three hours.
Before laying hands on you, the therapist asks for the desired pressure and sensitive areas, then stays the course: that's what sets the table apart, and you leave with your mind truly cleared. Sports enthusiasts have their Technogym room with coaching, led by a team just as attentive on the wellness side, and the complex aligns studio yoga, open-air meditation, and a heated 14-metre indoor pool. For a couple looking to disconnect or a solo traveller treating themselves to a serious break. Not for a budget hammam or those seeking lively entertainment: everything here is hushed.
The good tip: day passes, which open the spa without requiring you to stay overnight at the resort. The trap: booking your treatment late in the afternoon, as the spa closes at 8 pm every day; come earlier to enjoy the pool after your massage.
