Stah Marrakech review: our verdict
Chez Stah, the show is the main course. A house and deep house DJ kicks off the evening, followed by a saxophonist, an oriental dancer and contemporary dancers, with the Atlas Mountains behind them. The rooftop crowns the Cesar Resort on Route de l'Ourika, the decor plays with Spanish cards from the Ronda, and the cuisine attempts a bridge between Morocco and Mexico, with shared tacos and tapas, homemade cocktails and mocktails.
The setting works and the atmosphere builds quickly: it's tailored for a birthday, a group of friends or a match night in front of the screen. The food is more fragile, with tacos served hard and lukewarm or drowned in chili, and the service varies from table to table, attentive here, distracted there. You'll pass if you come for the meal, or if you just wanted a dessert and some chicha: in the evening, the house runs on a set menu.
The catch: discovering at the table the menu of starter, main, dessert at 450 DH per person and 100 DH per guest for a brought cake (updated in July 2026); make sure to confirm everything when booking. The tip: bring cash, as chicha is paid for in liquid. Service from 7 pm to 2 am, seven nights a week.
