Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech review: our verdict
330 meters: that's the length of the Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech pool, and it gives you a sense of scale for the rest of the property. The estate stretches between olive groves and an 18-hole golf course, with the Atlas Mountains, sometimes snow-capped, as a backdrop. The 134 keys range from a 72 m² room to a villa of over 700 m², all with terraces overlooking the gardens, the course, or the peaks.
You settle in and don't want to move: 3,500 m² spa, clay tennis court, squash, 500 m² kids' club, a visitable organic farm, and electric carts to get from one spot to another. Six restaurants and bars cover the day, from Moroccan dining to Italian Capricci. The staff, from gardener to concierge, greet you, smile, and anticipate your needs. For a honeymoon, family vacation, or golf stay. Not for experiencing the medina on a daily basis: the estate borders the road to Amizmiz, about 12 kilometers away, and every trip into town requires preparation.
Good tip: dine on-site, the restaurants offer fair prices for this standard. For an evening in town, the shuttle to the center is free.
