Spa Chenot Marrakech review: our verdict
Water leads the dance at Spa Chenot: four pools, each at its own temperature and for its own use, with two heated outdoor pools, one around 30 °C, and a hydrotherapy bath, plus two hammams. The method that gives the place its name combines treatments, hydrotherapy, nutrition and sport, over 1,200 m² within the Selman estate, on the route d'Amizmiz.
From the entrance, the dim light, soft music and scent of oils bring the pressure down. There are seven treatment cabins and four hydrotherapy rooms, plus a beauty salon and a gym with sharp coaches; each massage is tailored to the person, and the team remains discreet. The formula ranges from a day of treatments, for two or between friends, to Relax or Fitness cures lasting three to ten days, with a Biolight menu included. This is not the address for an express hammam between visits to the medina: you need a car, and the place demands that you stay.
The good tip: pair a treatment with a supervised session at the gym, one of the house's strong points. The trap: arriving without an appointment, as treatments are booked in advance; the spa welcomes guests every day between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.
