Four Seasons Resort Marrakech review: our verdict
By the pools of the Four Seasons, no one charges you for a bottle of water: it arrives at will, followed by ice cream, cakes, and biscuits throughout the afternoon. There are two pools, one for families and the other reserved for adults, in the middle of sixteen hectares of gardens planted in the Moroccan style, on Boulevard de la Ménara, four kilometers from Jemaa el-Fna. Not a room without a balcony or terrace, with the Atlas in the background.
The rest follows the same level of attention. At the spa, hammam, sauna, jacuzzi, and cold bath are free access; three restaurants, including the Italian Quattro, and the Zest Rooftop Bar complete the offer. The children's club is immense, and the little ones are taken care of without a parent nearby, something few hotels in the city offer. Honeymoon or family wanting to unwind: both will find their account there. Those who judge a palace by its breakfast, however, risk going hungry.
The trap: relying on the morning buffet to vary pleasures over a week, it goes round and round and service can be slow. The good tip: the spa circuit, including hammam, to do in the late afternoon without extra charge.
