Hivernage Hotel & Spa review: our verdict
The best moment of a stay at Hivernage Hotel & Spa is spent lying down: the hammam scrub and massage alone justify the booking. The rest of the hotel, a five-star property blending modern lines with Moroccan craftsmanship, is arranged around a central patio and its pool. Up top, on the seventh floor, the MySky rooftop sets up a hanging garden and a Mediterranean grill menu, facing the city and the Atlas Mountains.
The location does the work: you reach the Koutoubia in fifteen minutes' walk and Jemaa el-Fna in two kilometers. Spacious rooms, some with mountain-side balconies, suites with jacuzzi, sauna and fireplace. Porters, bellhops, morning servers, reception: the whole team maintains constant kindness, even for a long stay. Good choice for two, or for those who want to do everything on foot. Not for light sleepers: some rooms take the noise, and the entrance, very dark, evokes more of a club than a hotel hall.
The trap: the minibar, with the small bottle of water around 30 DH and a 2,500 DH deposit blocked upon arrival (checked in August 2026). The good deal: book scrub and massage right upon arrival. The best slot: sunset at MySky.
