Rooftop Garden review: our verdict
Rooftop Garden offers a panoramic view of the entire city: the illuminated Koutoubia on one side, the Atlas Mountains in the distance on the other, and in between, a heated circular pool on the roof of Nobu, on the Hivernage side. Swings, deep armchairs, light wood, and misters that save summer afternoons complete the scene. The menu blends Morocco and the Mediterranean, from pastilla to Marrakech-style tangia, with sushi served at the counter in the afternoon.
During the day, it's the pool that draws the crowd; at night, house music takes over, with DJs and dancers, in front of an audience mainly aged 25 to 35, dressed to go out and ready to stay late. On the service side, ice is added before the glass is even empty, and the spacing between tables allows for conversation without shouting. The perfect spot to toast as the sun sets, celebrate a birthday, or wrap up a stay. A couple looking for a relaxed atmosphere might feel out of place here, and a tight budget won't go beyond a drink.
Good deal: a drink or a pizza, to enjoy the view without breaking the bank, when the salad is 180 DH (as of April 2026). Pitfall: arriving without a reservation; better to book online a few days in advance and dress up.
